1) I found this photo on google images

2) The photographer's name is Kelley Ryden

3)This particular photograph was taken in 2008
4) What I like about this photograph is the contrast of the baby's soft skin and the bumpy carpet of material it lays on. I also like the way that there is enough value contrast to bring out every crack in the baby's skin, every crease on his little eyelids, and every strand of hair on his ripe little head. And without trying to state the obvious, the smirk that this little boy wheres on his pure, flawless, brand new face is undeniably one of the most wonderful images we as humans can see. An expression that genuine and wonderous has the power to change a bad day to a day well worth the trouble.
5) The kind of lighting that was used for this photograph was natural lighting that I would imagine to be fairly bright due to the high contrast.
6) The photographer put the emphasis on the newborns face by keeping the baby's surroundings completely simple and plain. She also placed the baby's head in 2/3 of the picture on the right side of the frame. She also placed the baby's arms in the bottom third of the picture. All of this awareness of the space in the frame made this a photograph instead of just a snap shot.
7) Due to the purity, simplicity, and flawlessness of this picture, there needs no explanation of why it is something one would appreciate. It displays the innocence that each child is born with. It captures the beauty of raw emotion. It shows the delicacy of the future generations. And ultimately, this picture does an incredible job of motivating all people to appreciate everyday moments; to stop and admire the small moments of pleasure in each day. After all, you're only your current age once.
